Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Vocal Arts Department proudly presents a master class on Japanese art song led by Japanese American mezzo-soprano Dr. Sahoko Timpone.
Eric Lu was catapulted into piano stardom by winning the Leeds International Piano Competition in 2018 at the age of 20. In this Piano Masters Series recital, he will play Schumann’s Arabeske, Schubert’s Four Impromptus, D.935, and Chopin’s Sonata No. 3.
Acclaimed pianist Eric Lu presents a master class, working with three Boston Conservatory at Berklee piano students. This event is free and open to the public.

Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Vocal Arts Department presents a master class led by Maestro Riccardo Frizza, one of the leading Italian conductors of his generation.
Since winning the Busoni Competition at age 18, Ukrainian pianist Dinara Klinton has established herself as an exciting virtuoso. Her Boston debut recital will consist of piano fantasies by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt, Chopin, and Scriabin.
Cellist Leland Ko is a first-prize winner of the Concours Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, the Concert Artists Guild Louis and Susan Meisel Competition, and the Walter W. Naumburg International Cello Competition. Ko will be joined by pianist Adria Ye in a program of works by Bach, Boulanger, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Messiaen, and Fauré.
Hinge Quartet presents BRIGHT. This energetic program includes music by Annie Hui-Hsin Hsieh, Caroline Mallonee, and John Mayrose alongside Louis Andriessen’s modern warhorse “Hout” and Klaus Lang’s engulfing “bright darkness (night).”
Guest ensemble Lamnth (Lilit Hartunian, violin, and Nicholas Tolle, cimbalom) presents an album release concert of music by Mischa Salkind-Pearl, chair of composition, contemporary music, and core studies.
