Week 1: June 8–12, 2026

Week 2: June 22–26, 2026

Students interested in learning the basic principles of Alexander Technique and how to practice it are encouraged to join Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s acclaimed Alexander Technique Summer Intensive. No previous experience is necessary.

Led by certified instructor Debi Adams, the intensive is offered in two sessions, and students may sign up for one or two weeks. Both weeks will meet Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. The Alexander Technique provides a way to change your thinking, which results in unlocking students’ movement and breathing to achieve optimal mind/body balance and coordination.

By the end of the intensive, participants will be familiar with the Alexander Technique and how to apply it to their daily lives.

Alexander Technique Summer Intensive can be taken on its own or as part of Boston Conservatory’s Alexander Technique Teacher Training Course. This course is affiliated with the Alexander Technique Center of Cambridge (Tommy Thompson, director).

"I went to class every day excited to be there, and came away more centered and calm and conscious of how I move my body through space during the course of the day. I loved working in this small group, and I liked how Debi created a sense of community in the room.” —Alexander Technique Summer Intensive participant
